Kelly Koenig, Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Kelly Koenig is from Florence, Texas, where she was raised around Beefmaster cattle and horses, shaping her passion for the agricultural industry from a young age. Growing up, she was actively involved in FFA and spent several years showing pigs, gaining valuable experience in animal care, responsibility, and leadership.

She began her college career at Tarleton State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communications with a minor in Marketing. She continued her education at Tarleton, completing a master’s degree in Agricultural and Consumer Resources with a concentration in Leadership.

Following graduation, Kelly worked as a Marketing Content Coordinator for an industry-leading company near Fort Worth, where she gained experience in agricultural marketing and communications. She is excited to join the American Akaushi Association and contribute to the promotion and growth of the breed and the cattle industry.

Kelly remains closely connected to her agricultural roots and is passionate about supporting the livestock industry. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses and spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Bug.
