What a busy summer it's been! With DNA submissions rolling in, members showcasing their cattle and sales, and another standout American Akaushi Association Convention in June, the season has certainly kept us moving. We truly enjoyed catching up with many of you in person—and for those who couldn’t attend, you were missed!
As always, our team is here and happy to help—just a call or email away. Looking ahead, be sure to mark your calendars for our 2026 Convention in College Station, TX, taking place from June 18–20. Plus, don’t miss our annual Member Sale on Friday, June 19. We’re already looking forward to it!

Whole Herd Reporting
Whole Herd Reporting (WHR) materials will be emailed (or mailed if you’ve previously requested) in September! WHR invoices will be sent via email in October (or by mail if you’ve previously requested it). Once received, please update the necessary information based on your current inventory and return it promptly.
Note: Once the final invoice is sent, no exceptions will be made.

Membership Status Reminder
Please ensure your membership is current in DigitalBeef and that any outstanding balances are paid in full. Late payments will result in membership deactivation, and an activation fee will be required to reactivate your account.

American Cattlemen Podcast: Akaushi Edition
During the American Akaushi Association Convention in Kansas City, the American Cattlemen podcast sat down with members to discuss their operations, how they got started in the breed, and why they love the breed. Episodes are available now and we encourage you to take a listen. A special thank you to all our members who participated!

Our annual convention will take place from June 18 to 20 in College Station, TX, at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center. Convention registration will open on February 2. If you have any topics you’d like to see covered at future conventions, please email them to info@akaushi.com.
Third Annual Member Sale
Join us on Friday, June 19, 2026, in College Station during the annual convention for the Stars of Akaushi Member Sale. Now’s the time to start planning your entries, reach out to photographers, confirm your animals are DNA verified, and begin prepping for sale day. Thinking of consigning embryos? Be sure to get high-quality photos of your donor dams now for future promotion. A Member Sale Overview will be available this fall, with entries opening after January 1.
American Akaushi Association Members Facebook Group
Don’t forget! The American Akaushi Association has created a private Facebook group for active members! The group can be used to ask questions about the Akaushi breed, share sales and events, and sell animals. Join the group!
