Happy Fall Y’all! It’s been a busy season at the American Akaushi Association! Our office is buzzing with activity, and we’re always ready to assist our members. Whether you have questions, need help advertising your sale or cattle, or are looking for assistance accessing the available tools and services, feel free to reach out. Fall Whole Herd Reporting
Whole Herd Reporting Preliminaries were emailed on October 7, 2025, and mailed (if requested) on October 14, 2025. Any changes to your fall 2025 herd assessment must be reported online by Friday, October 31, 2025, before the WHR assessment invoice goes out to ensure each breeder is billed correctly. Invoices will be emailed on November 3 or mailed shortly thereafter if you requested. Once invoices are created, no changes will be allowed. Read about the email.
2026 Convention
Our annual convention will take place from June 18 to 20 in College Station, TX, at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center. Convention registration will open on February 2 with early discounts lasting through April 30. As you start to make your plans, please note that a shuttle will be available for you to book from Houston Airport (IAH) to College Station. Booking information will be shared with registration or call the office with any questions. Happy planning, and we can't wait to see you in Aggieland!

2026 Online Renewals
Your 2026 American Akaushi Association membership renewal will be available online soon through your DigitalBeef account. You’ll receive an email from DigitalBeef as a reminder. Renewals are due by February 1 – after that date, a late fee will occur. After March 1, if you have not renewed, you will be deactivated as a member. We’ve created a tutorial for you. Please make sure all balances are paid before renewing. And, of course, if you run into any issues, give the office a call!
