Akaushi and Akaushi-influenced cattle provide ranchers opportunities in cattle performance, hybrid vigor and premium markets. Akaushi cattle are moderate in frame size and average 1,100 lbs. for mature females and 1,700 lbs. or greater for mature bulls.

Akaushi and Akaushi-influenced cattle perform well in all environments, with Akaushi and Akaushi-influenced cattle located in 40 states across the U.S as well as countries around the world. They prove to be efficient on grain-finished and grass-finished programs.

Two top traits for Akaushi and Akaushi-influenced cattle are fertility and longevity. Adding a fullblood Akaushi bull to your herd will work to breed a more consistent calf crop. Akaushi and Akaushi-influenced females have excellent udders, the ability to calve easily and pass on exceptional carcass traits to their offspring.
